There were lots of “Fargo� like ascents, but perhaps that is how they talk in Minnesota. I cannot help but hear Kirstie Alley telling me to go to Pier One Imports. This is a comedic documentary of a teen beauty pageant in a small community. The plot is pretty boring, so this is mostly a character piece. If you want humor in beauty pageants go with “Miss Congeniality.� I found the movie amusing but not very entertaining or funny. Perhaps I was just not in the kind of zany mood which is needed when watching a film like this.
