Only one character, Jeff, has any real depth or purpose, however he just seems to come out as a preacher and not a real philosopher. All the other people just go through the emotions and events of their lives without much thought. I found the plot was rather blah and the perhaps the acting is good if they were really trying to be plain. The world of slackers shines, which reminds me of parts of “Clerks.� Perhaps I would find these more interesting if it wasn’t for the fact I have lived with slackers and this is too much like parts of my life, which I am trying to avoid. Slackers are boring to watch.
