Absolutely Insipid Dana Carvey shows off his ability to do voices, as well as the costume department's ability to cope with the silly and awkward demands of what is an otherwise unimaginative script. There really isn't much else to the movie.
Maybe there's one or two redeeming qualities - it looks like it was a lot of fun to shoot... and maybe children under the age of ten might find it funny, though I'm not sure how young you have to be to not find the movie insulting to your intelligence. I don't want to discourage Carvey too much - he can be funny, more than some of the other SNL alumni. Yet he runs around this film like a child who learned a dirty word and keeps on saying it because someone laughed the first time. We really shouldn't encourage such behavior in an adult.
