At night, a Spider-Man obsessed kid tries to recover his Halloween candy after his mom hides it from him. What little more I could say about the plot would spoil its effectiveness, so I'll just leave it at that.

This short is insightful, sweet, clever, and very much to-the-point. One of the better student projects I've seen, it doesn't overreach, looks good, is well-paced, and reflects back to us some very basic human qualities. Spidermen is a great example that film doesn't have to be exaggerated, bigger-than-life, or fantasy-driven.
