Do NOT Believe in Deception This short had potential, however it was wasted. The acting was not great, although I did like Julie Arebalo. There were some nice lighting choices, but it was the ending that made this 9-minute piece so worthless. The scriptwriter, Steve Nichols Smith, took a cheap way out of the writing. If the deception were clever or inventive, I would respect the short. I feel that the scriptwriter did not have respect for the audience.
