All You Need is Love

I first saw this film in 1980 when John Lennon was killed. My mother taped it off of the TV in those days and I would watch the poor VCR tape. The DVD includes a whole section with the song “Bulldog. I have enjoyed this movie, but I now consider it weirder then when I first say it. I happily sang the tunes as they came about. The plot is a bit thin, but the whole movie is fascinating. Considering that this movie was created 1968, the animation is wonderful and the colors and the pictures are very trippy. I would love to give this film something better than 6, but it just does not have a gripping enough storyline. I cannot wait to watch the director’s overview to really understand what all of those pictures meant.
