Eh, kinda stupid for the most part... I'm no military man by any means, but I've seen enough documentaries on Navy SEALs to know that a guy like Charlie Sheen's character would not have made it through BUD/S with that attitude. Not to say that he wouldn't complete the training, but that his attitude would have changed upon going through that training.
The movie starts off by painting the SEALs as indestructible soldiers, but quickly deters this belief when one of them dies thanks to the carelessness and recklessness of one of the teammates. What it does achieve is portraying the level of dedication and commitment that each man on the team has to the mission and to the country. Regardless, watch it only if you're bored and need some relief from any other serious war movie.
