Good Deeds

This has to be one or perhaps THE best Adam Sandler movie I have seen. At first, I did not want to see this film, because I just thought it would be just another gross, barbaric Adam Sandler. This movie shows a heart-warming, kinder, gentler (despite some fighting scenes) Adam Sandler. This is truly a family flick in every sense of the word. There is not much of anything to offend someone. The fighting scenes are somewhat comical. There is not much profanity and nothing vulgar. In a world of so much negativity, it was refreshing to see a movie that always tried to show the positive. Yes at times it was hooky, but movies are like people, they do not always come across as perfect. Just when you figure this movie out, it just throws in something strange. There is an underlying theme of giving, caring and sharing that I find endearing. Many movies are about selfish people trying to get what they want, the old stereotype that Americans are just greedy, uncaring soulless beings. This movie portrays the goodness in the world. If you need some positivity in your day, go watch this movie. Hey, you might even chuckle and laughter can brighten anyone’s day. =)
