I saw a number of Muppets shows and I was saddened by Jim Hansen’s passing. This movie updates the Muppets and may bring a few people back to the Muppets or at least introduce a new generation to these crazy bunch. There are references to “Fear Factor,� “Scrubs,� “Moulin Rouge,� “The Grinch, � and “It is a Beautiful Life,� among others. The Muppets are great for families as they always put a warm spin on things. However, I may be tainted from watching when John Denver was shown on the Muppets Show. I feel that the main messages for children are important, that everyone matters. It is a nice, fuzzy film.
