This is a fantastic movie with interesting cinematography, plot, and characters. Val Kilmer does an excellent acting job. I do not want to spoil any of this flick. There are some disturbing shots but that is the world of drugs and sometimes life. The movie centers on character and integrity. There is definitely more than meets the eye in this movie. I found the beginning scene with Val Kilmer playing the trumpet in a burning building intriguing and from that moment on the movie had me hooked. I found the acting of some of the other actors not as good as Val Kilmer, and also the movie had no real moral or emotional drive to make it a better movie then a 7, however it is worth the money to see.
