I did not see the original movie, but I have a feeling that I will enjoy it. This movie is a construction of 3 skits through time to show the changing society views on lesbians and also the changing view of lesbians about themselves. There is some nudity, but for the most part it is tastefully done. As a heterosexual female I cannot say how true to life this movie is. I think that there are other problems that lesbians face, such as females who only experiment with being a lesbian but are not really or are married. I think this is a good movie to watch but there is nothing really remarkable about it.
