DiCaprio Times Two

This is a very atmospheric movie. The costumes, make-up, scenery, and special effects present an accurate look at 1600s France. I have not kept an eye on the Three Musketeers since my youth, but they play a large role in this movie. My visits to the independent film festivals have encouraged the idea of validity in movies. I wish that the actors and actresses at least had a French accent or perhaps even speak French. This movie is full of big names, but I feel that DiCaprio has a lot more learning to do to match the acting of the experienced actors. There is no real philosophy or deeper meaning in this film. It is just a visual feast.
