My faint memories of this film from my youth were much more pleasurable then watching it currently. I preferred “The Simsons� ideas on SpinalTap, also in Seattle, in the Experience Music Project, they have on exhibit the Stonehenge prop from the movie. The movie acts like a documentary, but of course with the bit parts given to seasoned comedians it is kinda of like name dropping (see what we can do). I felt that “Almost Famous� was a better movie about the behind the scenes of a rock group. The movie just does not seem to have a real point or inspiration.
