Integrity and Character

This movie has a feel of “Dead Poet’s Society, maybe it is just the idea of preppy all male’s school with a harsh but creative teachers. This story takes place in a sort of Ivy League high school. This movie has a central theme and purpose but it seems to want to hit you over the head with it. Sometimes it is good to be subtle. Kevin Kline does an award winning performance; I sense a nomination for best actor. The sets are as decadent as one would imagine. The story proudly marches forward and ties well with itself. My problem with the characters is the female friend to Kevin Kline’s character. I do not see her purpose, but perhaps by not indulging in any romance with her perhaps Kevin Kline keeps his integrity. This is a great movie; go see it.
