This film has a deep emotional appeal to it. It brings in the issues of sexual orientation, sexual experimentation, and the pit-falls of love. I feel that this is one of Ben Affleck’s best acting performances. You really gain a sense of his emotions. I was also moved by the acting of Joey Lauren Adams. The story is also unique with the realm of comic books. I may not have been a fan of the ending, and there does not seem to be any real point, however sometimes romance just leads to nothingness.
