This movie takes an interesting look at capitalism at its scummiest. The character Amy Archer gives me a sense of Lois Lane, the fast talking, no nonsense reporter. The sets, themes, costumes, and speech all helped to create the world of Philadelphia in the 1950s. What this movie lacked is depth in its characters and even in the plot. The movie does have the feel of a comic book, but no doubt the fantasy aspects of the movie help to create this child-like feel. So, over all this is a take it or leave it kind of story.
