This movie brings together all the aspects of film making (i.e., it is a movie about making a film). I found Eddie Murphy's acting to be some of his worst, either that or they did not write him good lines. Steve Martin plays the straight man in this comedy. A person has to wonder if he laughed at himself of camera. The script is very original and full of little surprises. I was not impressed by the acting of the other characters, and thus the worth of this movie fully rests on the story at Steve Martin.
