One of My All Time Favorites

I think this is one of the best performances from both Katharine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole. Granted I am slightly biased with Peter O'Toole since I do like his acting. The setting is a wonderful castle, which can be seen at the ending. I did not know that King Henry II had three sons until I watched this movie. Historically speaking Geoffrey dies early in life and thus is not able to make any impact on England.

I did not know until now, but it is a young Anthony Hopkins as Richard!!!! He does make a stately Richard, and this was Mr. Hopkins 4th movie he made.

The best part of this movie is the plot. The interactions among the characters is priceless. It is just an all around good movie.

Although I only give it a 9, because it did not move me. No emotions were mixed up other then I thought Geoffrey was good-looking.
