John Frankenheimer has had a long and storied career. He did this film near the beginning. Starring Frank Sinatra, (and thankfully, not another member of the Rat Pack), Angela Lansbury, and Janet Leigh.

This movie has a lot of critical plot twists that will not work well in a review format. It centers around the triumphant return of a military unit from the Korean war. Some of the members of the unit begin to have similar dreams that don't quite fit with their daytime memories. The movie deals with reconciling those differences.

Great flick and a genuinely refreshing break from the current hyper-real war pictures.
