I simply could not watch this. I turned it off within the first half hour. The first season of twin peaks was good, the second got bogged down and confused (the finale was interesting though). This 'prequel', shot after the series, reflects that downward trend. My best guess is that there was enough background material generated for the series that a movie could be written around it. But I don't see where it plays on screen for all the unused artsy weirdness that got stuffed in as well.
