Two detectives in the yard... Umm...I mean *from* The Yard. Scotland Yard, that is.
This is one movie from my childhood that I really enjoyed. It's a parody of Sherlock Holmes starring the classic comedy duo of Don Knotts, as Inspector Winship, and Tim Conway, as Dr. Tart. They've been summoned by a nobleman to solve his murder. Unfortunately, they are outwitted at every turn by the Shadow whose MO is to leave humourous little limericks at each murder that don't rhyme at the end. Not to mention the 'innocent' and beautiful daughter who is there only as a distraction. :-) For some good old fashioned comedy or a few cheap laughs, it's definitely worth watching.
