Spectacular movie with excellent shots. I read somewhere that 90% of the shots were done on the water. Action sequences were excellent. Definitely gives you an idea of how sea battles took place.

Great action. Decent acting on most parts. I don't know why, but I usually don't like child actors in movies like this, but all things considered, their acting was done well also.

The self-surgery scene was reminiscent of "Ronin" when DeNiro pulled a bullet out of himself.

The ending was abrupt and pissed me off since I was hoping for more action, but it did leave it open for a sequel. :-)

Definitely not a movie to be missed. Special Edition DVD has a second disc with deleted scenes and a documentary. Nicely done. Worth the extra cash.
