Mes amis, c'est l'amour...

Ok, the SillyconJester also has a softer, more sensitive side. I cried at the end of this one. This was my first Cary Grant movie that I'd ever seen and I've been watching classics like this ever since. It had given me more of an appreciation for older movies.

Believe it or not, the "Cary Grant" attitude does work with women. :-) I really enjoyed it. The only annoying things that I found with this movie were the scenes when Deborah Kerr's character Terry was singing at her nightclub. She could have at least made a better effort to lip sync the songs. I've seen old Chinese kung-fu movies dubbed in english with better lip syncing. :-) But aside from that, fantasitic performances by all of the actors. I was hoping that they'd explore the Nickie/Lois and Terry/Ken relationships a bit more. It would just give more background on each of the main characters.

Like I said, I cried at the end. I really did cry. It was sad. I thought it ended a bit too abruptly, but hey, I still liked it.

Definitely a movie to watch with a significant other.
